1. Clovers & Greenery

Home & Interiors

Working as a fresh alternative to traditional floral or botanical prints, clover motifs, green leaves, ferns and buds will come to the fore in 2026.

Clover motifs, in particular, were spotted across Maison & Objet S/S 2025. This lucky charm set to continue to emerge into print and pattern for the commercial market into 2026.

For home and interiors perennial prints, leaves, ferns and buds are also explored, with patterns placing focus on the leaves and stems of florals rather than the flower itself.

For baby and kids product ranges, clover perennial prints become maximalist and provide a fresh update for botanical coordinate designs. This symbol of luck is shifting away from the delicate botanical and cottage style interpretations we’ve seen previously, with new styles that are unapologetically bold and playful.

Block printed and hand-painted applications give a slightly sun-faded, softer effect, while gentle tonal colour combinations are suited to baby products like bedding and swaddles. To refresh older kids’ picnic, outdoor and beach collections, look to brighter graphic interpretations.  

For babies and younger children, personified suns with smiling faces exude a surreal and friendly charm.
